Two Hearts - Two Years

Continued.. Oh well, I have so much to talk (blog?) about, not sure where do I start from? OK, so here we go, I gave you guys a hint last night that yesterday was my second marriage anniversary and boy, we had an amazing day together!
We shopped, walked, watched movie, we ate, sipped coffees, chilled out in a park, dined-out and much more! It was a Monday, so both of us took the day off and just went out, had a fun day together (like always), missed families (back in India) and celebrated – just the two of us!
Here are some pictures from yesterday! Fresh and Nice -

Let's take a pause here (don't just scroll yet) and discuss why I changed clothes! I did, because I loved that dress (actually it was his idea to swap dresses, since he bought me that dress and wanted me to wear it ASAP! Yes, he is impatient like that, however, too lazy to change himself!
And I always do as he say (ok, most of the times... alright sometimes! bahhh..)!!
Then we left the mall and headed to our favorite coffee place and relaxed our feet in the park - -
In case, you haven't noticed yet, I curled my hair (myself!), how does it look?? Likey-Likey?? LOL..

Finally, it was time to go all formal and have a nice romantic dinner with him! Phoenix weather is awesome these days (hope you would have got it by now, since I have not cringed about the weather for such a long time!)
We went home, relaxed for a while and before he knew, I slipped in to my sexy dress and high heels and was all set to leave! He loved my dress so much that he could not stop complementing ALL NIGHT! Thank you love, once again! You know how to make me happy.. [blush.. blush..]

And a big thank you to all my family, friends and e-world friends for your warm wishes! We love you all!! Muahh.. Muahh..

These last two pictures are the courtesy of iPhone, hence the poor quality! Forgive me :)
Well, which look did you like the most? I am not telling you my favorite yet ;)

Cheers

Lip Balm Addiction

These are all mine. Yes, ALL of them! Finally, the obsession is public now. I have a special place in my heart (and in my dressing-room) for lip balms. Firstly, I love that they have so many delicious names like lip balms, lip butter, lip tint, lip shield and what not..
Secondly, there are endless number of varieties, and flavors available in the market to try! A girl can never have too many. ADDICTIONNN!!
And before you ask, yes, I use of all them, depending on my mood and the need of the hour. I have opinions for all of them –

VLCC Lip Shield – Super soft, and smells delicious! I use the Cocoa butter one, it’s great for daily use. Keeps lips hydrated for hours.
Maybelline Baby Lips – A tinted lip balm. The color is subtle but makes lips appear full and supple. Great when you don’t have time to apply a lipstick and want a little color on your lips.
Neosporin – The night version (Neosporin Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy) is magical. It claims to heal the chapped lips if you apply it 3 nights in a row! And it really works. Lips stay soft and moist even in the morning. I give 10 on 10 to this one! And the day version (Neosporin Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy Lip Balm) has SPF 20 in it! Bonus points!!
Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm – It’s soothing, cooling and refreshing! Another amazing lip balm for curing chapped lips. Great help in fighting the after effects of winter. Though I like the original version more than the tinted one. How about you?
The Body Shop Lip Butters – I have mentioned it earlier that I really like the Satsuma Shimmer Born Lippy Lip Butter version, but the Pink Grapefruit one was a total disappointment. Since that one leaves a white glaze on the lips and does not smell that good. Forgot to picture, but I also love the Lip scrub from Body Shop, it is so effective and so amazing!
EOS Lip Balm – Has SPF 15 and tastes amazing! Stays on the lips as long as you don’t lick it! No, really, no kidding! LOL..
Smith's Rosebud Salve – Bought from the Urban Outfitters store. And they are superb! Loved both the versions (strawberry and mint). Too good!
Lush Lip tint – It’s a matte lip tint. (wore it in this post). Would not put it in the category of a lip balm, since it’s a substitute of a lipstick. But I like it.
Nivea Lip care – Not a big fan of this one. Though it gives a little color to the lips (I got the red one), but it dries fast, re-application is required quite frequently. Better if used as a gloss (or if you don’t mind re-applying in short intervals).
L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm – A good nude lipstick kind-a balm. Stays for more than 6 hours. Good for daily application like in office or school. Has SPF 15 (yayy..) Love it!
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – Nice one and love that it gives a nice shiny color to the lips! Great substitute of a lipstick.
Vaseline – I use it when I do not find anything else (and/or ‘in emergencies’). How can the collection be complete without a Vaseline?

There you go! Here are all my lip balms I have used so far (actually I have used more than these)! Which are your favorites? I don’t mind adding more to my list ;)

San Diego - Sea World

Hello friends, I am back from an amazing vacation. It was a lovely 2 day road trip to San Diego – America’s finest city. Had a wonderful time and lots of fun! I have been to Sea World before, however loved going there once again. I may never get bored going there, I think! My all-time favorites are the playful Dolphins and the super-funny, super entertaining Sea Lions show. Can play with dolphins for hours and never get tired. They are really intelligent and friendly creatures. And the Sea Lions show was the most funny (live) show I have ever seen! The host was incredible! I personally wanted to congratulate him after the show, but could not, well may be next time!
Here are some pictures from the day!

P.S. Truth be told, I am as lazy as I was before leaving for the mini-vacation! (Don’t know how people feel relaxed/rejuvenated after coming from back from vacations?? I feel more relaxed when I am on my vacation, right there, in the moment and not when I am back! Sigh!!!)

Our first stop at Yuma, where we ate at this beautiful Mexican restaurant. Below are few pictures from the restaurant
Reached our hotel and took some shots in the room. It was 12:30 at night, but we were not sleepy!
Next morning - Reached Sea World for a day full of fun!

Didn't I say they are cute! OK, super cute!
A fabulous show and it's performers
Whales - and yes, they were trained too! What fun to watch them!
I always say this - GOD is the best artist! Forever!

Cheers
Ritika
