Before my own previous self turns vintage, I plan to share this outfit post with you all!

As you know (if you follow any of my page - GFC, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram) that these pictures were taken when I had those long wavy hair, however, for some good/bad reason, these pictures stayed hidden in my archives. Today I thought it's high time that I share these with you all, or else you won't recognize me in the pictures! (Well, all my blogger friends would agree that we always have few such pictures in our archives, which were clicked however, were not lucky enough to turn in to a post! Agree?)

These were clicked back in New Delhi (before moving to Phoenix), when I was too much in to long skirts. Don't believe me? Check this post.

Though I still love them, but don't wear them so often. Plus, this particular lovely peacock-print skirt is not with me here in Phoenix. (**sad face**)

I absolutely fell in love with the color and print of this skirt when I first saw it. And any guess where did I score it from? **No scroll downs, no cheating**!!

Ah! I knew you would not be able to guess that!

It's from our very own 'Janpath'! Yayy!! (Those who don't know, Janpath market is located in New Delhi, and is famous for its handicrafts, garments, jewelry and street food etc., all at unbelievably low prices!)
Question: Can we say this is animal print? Or bird print? We can, right??

P.S. I love playing in these skirts. They make me feel like a princess! No kidding :)

Diwali Delights

Such a lazy Wednesday it is! Too lazy to even get up and cook lunch. Hence, thinking of going out to grab some food with husband. And by the time you would be reading this, I would be enjoying my meal of the day!

Now, that Diwali is over, I am feeling a little low as my favorite festival of the year is finally over. Though I hope all my Indian friends and readers celebrated it very well and had a fantastic time!!

For my Non-Indian readers and friends, Diwali is the Indian festival that brings a series of festivals with it. One after another, we get a chance to celebrate five ceremonious occasions. The people of all age groups and classes with equal zeal and enthusiasm celebrate Diwali throughout India. They put on new clothes and participate in the various activities that are related to Diwali celebrations. It is a festival of celebrations such as lightings, crackers, cleanliness, colorful rangoli making, social gatherings to exchange greetings and sharing sweets with your loved ones. Diwali is a festival filled with spiritualism and religious activities.

I wore this sari last night on the occasion of Diwali, which I bought five months ago and wore it for the first time yesterday. I bought it from FASHIONandYOU, sadly I don't remember the specific brand of the sari. But I loveeee this chiffon sari and the print on it!

Meet my husband - my life partner - my best friend - my soul mate - my photographer - my critic - my supporter and the most amazing person in my life! A bonus pic in the end...
