Mustard Heels

Lately I have been hooked on to reading. The idea is to read, read and read more blogs. I love searching and then discovering a new blog and then I stalk it for hours (or days) until I am done reading all the posts published so far (yes, all of them!). I keep searching for new ones and have already come up with few gem blogs and this hunt shall never end. There are so many wonderful blogs out there and it's so amusing to understand the personality and the style of each blogger through their posts.

That's all I have been doing lately (apart from office, cooking, bathing, sleeping etc.)
Oh and on other note, there are chances of me going to a road-trip this month end (with husband and friends). **Fingers crossed**
Will reveal the location (only if the road-trip plan is a success)!

And yes, wish you all a very happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Don't forget to wear something green today!

P.S. These sandals (in the pictures) are my latest obsession these days. Love them to death! They are so very comfortable and they look so pretty. They can be styled in hundreds of ways. Love the color. PERFECTION!
I wanted them to stand out. Hence, styled rest of the outfit keeping the focus on the shoes.

Cheers

A Rose is a Rose

Happy Belated American Business Women’s Day to all of you…
Those who did not know, on Sept. 22nd, it was American Business Women’s Day... And in the spirit of the same, the lovely employees of Fry’s (a food and drug store) were gifting a rose to all the women customers at the store this whole week. Eventually, I was gifted a rose too. Loved this small gesture at the store yesterday! Such small things make me so happy.

I then made a good use of this lovely present by using it as a prop in the outfit pictures. Nonetheless, this rose also managed to reserve two places in the title!

P.S. I love these pastel pink jeans of mine (wore here earlier), but sadly they are loose to me now, as I am down by 1 size lately...
“Sad face” for the loose jeans... “Happy face” for slimming down!! Yikes!

Have great week you all!

Cheers
Ritika

Pastel Download

Pastels look great. I have always loved pastel colors, even before they came in vogue. For a long time, I eyed these Mango jeans, before buying them. I love these pants and wear them with utmost care, so that they don't get dirty.

A brief on my outfit -

1. Pastels give you an elegant look. Pastel colors look great on Indian skin tone.
2. There is so much that you can do with pastels colors in your outfit. You can dress it up (with a jacket, heels and a nice clutch) or dress them down (with sneakers or oxfords and a sling bag).3. Here, I have dressed up my look, with chunky neck piece, bling sandals and a color blocking bag.
4. I chose to play with one color only, giving my pastels a sheen look.
5. I wanted to add a bag which breaks the overall pink color. Adding a clutch comes easily, hence I tried something different with a big bag,
6. The accessories are also in the same color family, though in different hues.
7. I spotted this belt at a local boutique in Kanpur and grabbed it immediately!
8. The watch is my most priced possession, gifted by my husband, which also happens to be in rose gold color.
