Fuchsia Fabulous

As I said before (last week), we went on a short day trip to Sedona, a wonderful scenic town in Arizona! Everything is RED here, from the mountains to the buildings, to the sand, everything and it's a pleasant sight to the eye! The city is built so beautifully, I wish I could spend some more time here. I love mountains more than beaches, so I would not mind living here after I retire from my worldly duties!

Nothing much to say today, since Mom is here, I keep talking at home all the time! She is my best friend, my buddy, my inspiration! Love you maa..

Enjoy the pictures!

Cheers!

Castles N' Coasters

I don't normally post twice in one day, but today I simply wanted to! It was an official event where the families of our office employees were invited. Since me and my husband work at the same place, we had to attend the event being each other’s families (LOL)..!
We were given a full day pass to Castles N' Coasters, an amusement park based in Phoenix, Arizona.

It was a half an hour drive to the venue, and needless to say we had some great time with friends and their families. Few of the rides were quite scary but at the end it was too much fun!

The day was bright and sunny, which is why, I chose to wear cotton shorts with my favorite high rise sneakers.

Not afraid to shine

Such a wonderful weather here it is, it rained yesterday and the temperature still did not drop much. It’s still pleasant here in Phoenix. Few perks of living in desert!
Love being out these days, especially when it was my husband’s birthday on Jan 23rd and it was so much pleasant that day, we can say a perfect romantic weather! Not too windy, not too cold, just perfect! The breeze flowing that night made me love life, love him, love everything… again!
And we celebrated his birthday under the moon light, with drinks, music and finger licking food.
A big thank you to everyone who wished, we are grateful!

Oh yes, how can I forget to brag about my new car, which I am enjoying pretty much! The awesome feeling of driving it, makes me high!
And co-incidentally the car was delivered on husband’s birthday! That was another reason for the celebration! Thanks much for all the wishes, again :)

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you would know that I baked another chocolate cake topped with coffee-choco glaze for his birthday, which was enjoyed pretty much. Do not forget to check out the pictures here.

On other note, I have recently enrolled for Power Yoga classes, which shall start next week, and I can’t wait for it, knowing the fact how much I love the stretching and meditating part of it. Will definitely share the experience with you all, as it would be my first time with Yoga, I have always been the gym person doing hardcore cardio and HIIT workouts! This is new for me, and I would love it, I am sure!

These pictures were clicked on a sunny afternoon. We enjoy ‘Happy Winters’ here, with enough Sun and warmth! How are your winters going? Do share below!

Prints

Accidentally I took a 2 hour long sleep which was meant to be only a 30 min nap! Now, I'm out of time! Though feeling fresh, I am so behind my schedule..eehh.
Hence, without taking much of your time too, I would like to keep this post short and crisp!
Oh and yes, I have a surprise for you all. Too lazy to tell you today, hence, let's keep it for the next time! J
Enjoy the pictures.

Things are different today

Sometimes I think why do we get attached to things (read ‘non-living things)? We start imagining this is ours and that is ours just because we bought it or earned it, however, if  we calmly sit and think about it, we must realize that in reality, rarely anything belongs to us.

Such attachment with assets and commodities bear no importance to me. I strongly believe, it is the people, the living creatures, who should be treated with so much importance. Instead we consider our house, our car, our money more important than people. I wonder when that transformation happened.

These non-living things were made (by us) for us to enjoy and simplify living life on this earth, and not to make them ours and become the owner of everything! In this process of buying and owning things we have lost the significance of relationships! Our money and our assets have become so important to us that we have started neglecting the value of humanity, the role of family and friends in our lives.

Again, how did that happen?

Anyways, there is so much that has changed from those good old times, which by the way shouldn’t have been.

Enough said, now taking off my thinking cap and let’s look at today’s outfit.

I thought of going the Kristen Stewart way and paired canvas shoes with my dress. Can’t tell you how comfortable my day was! And orange socks playing peek-a-boo!! xoxo

Enjoy the pics :-)

P.S. This last one is just for reference :D

Let's Trek

Let’s Trek! Yeah. This trip was such a rejuvenating experience.Today sharing the pictures from my trek day. Me, my husband and all our friends were out early in the morning even before sunrise for some mountain walking and bird watching. Yes, we did watch so many different kind of birds in the jungle. Some change colors with the season, some copy the colors of other birds and butterflies, there were such beautiful ones out there.

Though I am not wearing any outerwear here, but remind you the temperature was 18 degree Celcius outside. It was a chilly morning and I loved it!

A Springy evening in Shelby Farms

As the spring is here, me and my hubby decided to go out for some shopping. I thought of wearing this beautiful spring dress and my Metro flats.
We enjoyed strolling in the park as the sun was going down.
